Their book, "The HappyBaby’s Guide to the first 24 months" book is a real lifesaver with recipes, tips, ideas on how to nourish your baby in a healthy way and has all kinds of coupons in the back. My Mom used the one free week of Stroller Strides coupon and that has finally kicked off her workouts. Win-win! It's co-authored by Dr. Sears too. It's written in an easy to read style and focuses on baby's health and mama's health, which is a nice reminder for busy mama's out there. We tried the HappyBellies Baby Cereals, HappyBaby Frozen foods, HappyPouches for the on the go baby, YoBaby Yoghurt, Happy Melts and the Organic Puffs.
The HappyBellies Baby Cereals are probiotic dry cereals with DHA for my immunity. In the early stages, DHA is critical for brain and eye development - it makes me smart. The cereal was very fine and easy to mix. I like my cereal a little more chunky, but it was perfect when mixed together with the vegetables.
The organic puffed grain snacks have low sugar and nothing artificial. They are delicious and when I see the container I go nuts for more. In the beginning, my Mom broke them into quarter pieces to avoid choking, but once I got the hang of it, I could shove them rapidly into my mouth. They are handy to gnaw on while my Mom is fixing the rest of my lunch. Mmmmm, a big thumbs up.
The HappyMelts organic freeze-dried yogurt snacks with pre and probiotics help my digestion work well. Also recommended to break them up at first, and as the name suggests, they melt in my mouth. They really help with hand co-ordination and self-feeding and the mango ones are delicious!
The frozen meals are the best ever. They are healthy, packaged in 1oz. cubes so you just pop them out and heat slightly and you are ready to roll. We tried the peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, pears, easy going greens, grrreat greens, baby dhal and mama grain cubes and all of them were a hit. A bonus is that my Mom reused the plastic cubed trays for her homemade food.
Lastly, I tried yoghurt for the first time with Yobaby Yoghurt. I have to say that I am not a big fan of plain yoghurt, but when it's mixed with one of the frozen pear cubes, I ate the whole thing. And my Mom felt good about me getting my dairy, as well as eating organic fruit.
We are going to continue to try more HappyBaby products. There are lots more - yay!! And my Mom is using her book for new recipes and our health. The folks at HappyBaby are super nice, have great customer service and support Project Peanut Butter, which we can all feel good about - with all that we have going on these days, who doesn't want to support companies like that?
